It sits at the intersection of science and craftsmanship. Every restoration demands technical control, but it also demands an eye for balance, proportion, and long term function. That duality is what I find most demanding and most rewarding.
Because competence should be earned, not assumed. The BAIRD fellowship gave me structured exposure to implant protocols, composite artistry, and occlusal planning in ways that routine training simply doesn’t provide. I wasn’t willing to cut that short.
Structured diagnosis. Honest treatment planning. Controlled execution. And knowing when not to proceed. That last part often separates the good from the disciplined.

Go where the standards are highest, not where the path is easiest. Discomfort is where development happens.
